Director & Specialist Teacher
Louise Moon
MA. Ed, Pg Cert (NASENCO) BA (Hons), QTS, CCET.
Louise brings over 17 years of experience in education, including 13 years in senior leadership and eight years as a Deputy Head Teacher. She has a strong background in SEND leadership and works alongside schools through whole-school SEND consultancy to strengthen systems, refine processes, and build inclusive, effective provision for all learners.
Her approach is grounded in neuro-affirming values and a genuine belief in recognising and building on every child’s strengths and potential. She continues to invest in her own learning, drawing on current research and best practice to inform her work with schools.
Louise previously worked as a specialist teacher for a local authority, supporting schools to identify practical strategies, resources, and interventions that help children make meaningful progress. She has particular expertise in developing enhanced provision and alternative curriculum pathways for pupils with more complex needs.
She now leads the service at SEND Hub North West, working closely with schools to deliver specialist support and strategic guidance that strengthen inclusive practice. Louise is passionate about supporting schools to give every child the best possible start, leading a bespoke, strengths-based service that recognises developmental differences and delivers meaningful support that affirms each child’s neurodivergent identity.
