Bryony Mather

Bryony is a Specialist Teacher and SEND Hub North West Associate with over 20 years of experience in primary education. Her career includes eight years in senior leadership and five years as a SENDCo, where she developed a strong focus on school improvement and inclusive practice.
She has particular expertise in educational testing and uses this to support schools in building a clear understanding of pupils’ strengths and needs. Through her work with SEND Hub North West, Bryony works closely with schools to provide specialist assessments, training, and SENDCo support, helping to strengthen inclusive practice and build staff confidence.
Bryony is passionate about supporting schools and SENDCos to deepen their knowledge and develop effective approaches to inclusion. She is committed to helping create environments that are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely inclusive, where every pupil feels able to succeed.
She strongly believes that every child should feel valued, understood, and supported to reach their full potential. Bryony works in partnership with schools, pupils, and families to identify barriers to learning early and put in place practical, purposeful strategies that lead to meaningful, lasting outcomes.
